Influenced by a concept originally conceived by Hermann Helmholtz, the Ames Room is a distorted room that is seemingly cubic. Upon entering the space however, a person appears to grow or shrink, moving from one end to the other. In reality, the room is trapezoidal which outcomes promotes optical illusions.
