GEN­ERAL QUESTIONS

WILL THERE BE AN OVER ARCH­ING THEME TO MY EVENT?

Def­i­nitely. Your idea is our guide­line and we will fol­low this man­date closely to bring your vision to life. Alter­na­tively we will pro­pose themes, ideas and styles to bet­ter fit the mes­sage that you are try­ing to get across.

WHAT DOES MY MONEY GET ME?

Ice Cream Events will pro­vide you with the most cre­ative, unique and fresh ideas in the field of mar­ket­ing based on research of Amer­i­can & British style event man­age­ment. We will pro­vide you with var­i­ous pro­fes­sion­als to ensure that every aspect of your vision is achieved, within the scope of your bud­get. Each event is inher­ently unique and dur­ing the Strate­giz­ing phase our team will dis­cuss every angle and pos­si­bil­ity avail­able to you.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PRE­PARE AN EVENT?

Trea­sure Hunt — 2 months (because approvals are required from the Min­istry of Trans­port, etc.)

Team Build­ing, Fam­ily Day, Gala Din­ner — 4 to 7 weeks

Con­cep­tu­al­ized Events — 60 to 90 days

Addi­tional Ser­vices — As per required basis.

While we endeavor to pro­vide our ser­vices with the reg­u­lar time frame, some spe­cific aspects may require longer time for pro­duc­tion and installation.

HOW DO WE GET IN TOUCH WITH YOU?

Before — Through phone, emails, SMSes, & What­sapp mes­sag­ing ser­vice (at our office hours of 10am — 6pm).

Dur­ing — You will be assigned a Project Man­ager to liaise between you and all the sup­pli­ers and pro­duc­tion crew to ensure every­thing runs smoothly. At all times dur­ing the Prepa­ra­tion and Event Phases, you will even be able to reach us at night.

BREAK­DOWN THE EVENT FOR ME. WHAT HAP­PENS?

At the man­age­ment level, we work closely with sup­pli­ers of hard­ware, cre­ative tal­ent, and a pro­duc­tion crew to setup your event. We can pro­vide a mix of local and inter­na­tional tal­ent. A pho­tog­ra­pher or a video­g­ra­pher will be hired if the client wants a high qual­ity audio/​video record­ing of their event. We also assist in obtain­ing all rel­e­vant autho­riza­tion as required for the event.

WHERE CAN YOU SETUP AN EVENT?

We have setup events all over West Malaysia, as well as Kota Kin­a­balu, Bangkok, Macau and Mel­bourne… really any­where in Malaysia, and inter­na­tion­ally if you need it to be.

WHAT HAP­PENS IF IT RAINS DUR­ING MY EVENT?

For out­door events such as trea­sure hunts, we pro­vide pon­chos (dis­pos­able rain­coats), canopies, umbrel­las and even mete­o­ro­log­i­cal ser­vices, both sci­en­tific and alter­na­tive analy­sis… the hunt must go on. We endeavor to pro­vide our ser­vices even under unfore­see­able circumstances.
